“Saint Augustine Catholic School exists to provide students an opportunity to encounter Christ in a faith-filled school and engage in an academically excellent learning environment, while empowering every child to become a servant leader.” - SAS Mission Statement

Welcome to the e-News

Dear Saint Augustine School Families,

As we prepare to enter the sacred season of Lent, a time of prayer, reflection, and renewal, I am excited to share a wonderful opportunity that will support our entire school community in growing closer to Christ.

As announced at our last HSA meeting, our school has purchased Hallow Educator, which provides free access for every teacher, staff member, student, and parent in our community with a subscription to Hallow and educator resources. Hallow is a Catholic prayer and faith platform designed to make spiritual growth engaging, accessible, and meaningful for all ages. It is our hope that this shared resource will help unite our families in prayer throughout Lent and beyond.

We especially encourage parents and families to participate in the Lenten challenges offered through the platform. The “Kid’s Lent: Miracle Hunters” is a daily series designed to make faith formation interactive and joyful. Throughout the series, families will dive into Saints Alive-style saint stories, hear inspiring vocation journeys, play games, pray together, and enjoy episodes from the hit game show Holy Moly!, all while deepening their relationship with God and one another. Most importantly, you can do this while you are driving to school in the morning or enjoying our morning carline.

Lent invites us to slow down, reflect, and intentionally make space for Christ in our daily lives. By engaging with Hallow together, we hope our school families will experience moments of prayer, conversation, laughter, and faith that strengthen both home and school as partners in forming disciples.

If you would like to opt out of this program for your family, please email me directly. Otherwise, accounts will be set up for all students later this week. We look forward to walking this Lenten journey together as a faith-filled community.

May this season bring peace, renewal, and many blessings to your family.

With hope and gratitude,

  Mr. Joseph Miller
