IRAs, RMDs and QCDs – Oh My!
If you’re 70 ½ or older, one way to support charitable organizations like YWCA Evanston/North Shore is to transfer funds each tax year directly from your taxable IRA. These direct transfers are known as Qualified Charitable Distributions or QCD’s.
If you’re 72 or older, the age at which you are required to begin taking distributions from your taxable IRA, or Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), the qualified charitable distributions mentioned above can count toward your RMD, as long as certain rules are met.

The North End Mothers' Club donated books, games, and a PlayStation 4 to make the Teen Lounge inviting and fun!
