On June 7, a total of 592 Lake Stevens High School students received diplomas. This year's graduates earned more than $2 million in scholarships and awards. Members of the Class of 2022 aspire to be engineers, teachers, lawyers, physicians, computer scientists, and musicians—just to name a few. We also have several students who will proudly serve our country in the Armed Forces.

Summer meal service begins June 22
Our free summer meal service begins Wednesday, June 22 through Thursday, Aug. 11 from 12 to 12:30 p.m. in the Sunnycrest Elementary School cafeteria, 3411 99th Ave NE.

Meals are available to children 18-years-old and younger, Mondays through Thursdays. Meals must be eaten on site. There is no service on Monday, July 4.

School meals for 2022-23 school year
The current USDA waiver that has allowed school districts to provide free of charge meals to all students is set to expire at the end of June. This means that for the 2022-23 school year we will transition back to regular prices for school meals. Students/families can still qualify for free or reduced price meals.

Our Free and Reduced Applications will be available to families in early August. This is an annual process to qualify. We realize that paying for or requalifying for meals will be a shift for all of our families and students, and want you to be aware. 

It has been a great benefit to provide meals at no charge this school year. We are currently serving 75 percent of our district enrollment every day (this is almost double our historical output). Click here to learn more about changes for fall.
Enroll your incoming kindergartener today
It's time to register your kindergartner for the 2022-23 school year. Don't delay! Enrollment packets are available on our website, at each elementary school, and at the district office.


And, don't miss Ready for Kindergarten Aug. 22 to Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at each elementary school. Students must be registered for kindergarten in order to attend.

Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices.

Eligible households may receive:

  • Up to $30/month discount on internet service.
  • Up to $75/month discount if the household is on qualifying Tribal lands.
  • A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, table, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)

Eligible households can enroll in the ACP through an approved provider or by visiting one of two simple and easy-to-use websites: ACPBenefit.org or GetInternet.gov.
