The REALTOR® of the Year involves the selection of a MJAR REALTOR® member who has contributed the most to the advancement of their community and the REALTOR® organization at all three levels (local, state, and national) and who has had significant involvement in civic and charitable activities. The award recipient will be determined by the MJAR REALTOR® of the Year Task Force and submitted by MJAR to New Jersey REALTORS® for consideration for the state REALTOR® of the Year Award.

Greetings from the 2026 NAR RLM in Washington D.C.!

Each year, the National Association of REALTORS® hosts the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings in Washington D.C. NAR members who are involved in the governance of the association and who volunteer on association committees attend this event each year.

This year, Mid Jersey Association of REALTORS® staff and volunteers attended and gained valuable insight on the latest updates from Nykia Wright, CEO of the National Association of REALTORS®, met with their NAR Committees, attended the RPAC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and learned about the latest economic issues and forecasts for the real estate industry.

A reminder to members that the current NJREC Continuing Education term (2025-2027) began on July 1, 2025 and concludes on June 30, 2027. Avoid the $200 late penalty by completing Continuing Education requirements by April 30, 2027.

The requirement to fulfill 12 Continuing Education Credits applies to all active licensees. NJREC licensees can view their status for the current term on https://njrece.psiexams.com. Licensees will need their license reference number and Social Security Number to access their learning plan.

Contributions to RPAC are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and are used for political purposes. The amounts indicated are merely guidelines and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amounts provided your contribution is within applicable contribution limits. The National Association of REALTORS® and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member because of the amount contributed or a decision not to contribute. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, any request for the refund of a contribution must be made within two (2) business days of the date on which you authorize RPAC to charge you for said contribution. Your contribution is split between National RPAC and the State PAC in your state. Contact your State Association or PAC for information about the percentages of your contribution provided to National RPAC and to the State PAC. The National RPAC portion is used to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116.
