First U building

Come Celebrate September 8th!

Our "Downtown Gem" is calling! Sporting a spiffy, newly renovated sanctuary, all dressed and ready to shine, our Claude Bragdon building gives all of us something to Brag about! We heartily encourage you to wake from your midsummer nights' dreams and march right into the sanctuary with gusto on September 8th! In our first service of the new church year, we will focus not only on the beauty that surrounds us, but on paying tribute to our generous benefactor, Beryl Haas, who made this renovation possible. We will also acknowledge with joyful gratitude all those whose hands, hearts, time and dedication have been gifts of major proportion to our congregation. Theirs is truly a work of love. Step lively! Step into our new church year with us on the 8th, and bring your enthusiasm, 'cuz we're celebrating!

groceries Food Ingathering

The monthly Food Ingathering is Sunday, September 8. Donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries , and paper products will be collected to benefit The Community Food Cupboard on Nester Street.

This month, there is a particular need for canned vegetables. Donations have decreased during the summer months. Please give as generously as you are able.

Recycling Sign-Up Sheet

There's a brand new recycling sheet in the Clara Barton Lounge where you can choose a convenient day to take out the recycling.

Please affix your signature so we can reduce refuse removal costs and care for out little part of the interdependent web.
