e-Stewards Announces

Samsara as Enterprise Partner

Seattle, WA. 22 April 2026. Today, e-Stewards, a leading certification for responsible electronic waste management, announced that Samsara Inc. (“Samsara) (NYSE: IOT), the pioneer of the Connected Operations® Platform, has joined the e-Stewards Enterprise Program. E-Stewards’ partnership with Samsara signals to the industry that responsible electronics processing is a critical component of enterprise risk management, supply chain integrity, and environmental stewardship.

Samsara’s AI platform delivers real-time visibility and actionable insights across vehicles, equipment, and worksites — supported by its growing portfolio of connected hardware. Through the partnership, Samsara will prioritize the use of e-Stewards Certified Processors for the disposal of hardware under its control and report its progress annually to e-Stewards.

“Enterprise technology companies are being called to take greater responsibility for the electronics they manage when they reach end of life,” said Selena Turnock, Certification Director, e-Stewards. “Samsara’s leadership highlights both the progress being made and the significant opportunity ahead for others in the industry to take similar steps. Responsible end-of-life management is quickly becoming a business imperative.

The e-Stewards certification is widely recognized as the most rigorous standard for ethical electronics processing, requiring strict export controls, safe materials management, and independent verification measures including audits and GPS tracking. Electronic equipment processors that achieve e-Stewards certification must meet comprehensive performance requirements designed to protect both people and the environment. These include prohibiting the export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries, ensuring safe handling of materials of concern, and maintaining verified downstream accountability throughout the recycling chain.

At Samsara, we take the full lifecycle of our hardware seriously, from how it’s built to how it’s eventually retired,” said Jeff Faulkner, SVP of Operations at Samsara. “This commitment reflects the transparency and accountability that underpin our broader sustainability efforts. We’re proud to join e-Stewards and to continue building on the practices that help us operate more sustainably and better serve our customers.

As e-Stewards continues to expand its Enterprise Program, the addition of Samsara reflects increasing momentum among global companies to align their hardware supply chains with high standards for accountability, transparency, and responsible recycling.
