Faithfully Addressing Gun Violence
This month, more than 1 million people in the US have been killed or wounded by guns since the Sandy Hook shooting. Baltimore-Washington Conference leaders invite you to attend the 10th annual National Vigil for All Victims of Gun Violence, which will be held in person on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Participants can also watch on Facebook.

The vigil is also endorsed by the General Board of Church and Society, Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence and the Delaware Coalition Against Gun Violence.

As we hold vigil for victims and survivors, we ask United Methodists to sign these two Action Alerts: Ask Congress to pass the Assault Weapons Ban and Ask Congress to pass Ethan’s Law.
