The virtual WILPF US Jane Addams Branch invites you to our monthly open meeting with guest speaker, Carron Little, from the Chicago branch, AND YOU!

Carron Little is a poet, performance artist, writer, and organizer and has an interdisciplinary artistic practice that fuses poetry and performance with her artwork. One of her projects is Fifty-Fifty.

The Fifty-Fifty project evolved out of LOVE over MONEY and Unto Each Their Own Safe + More, an interactive performance at a working bank in Chicago in 2013. In this project Carron created a fun way of calculating what people haven’t received during their working lives due to racial, gender, LGBTQ + and disability pay gaps.

Carron has been invited to create this work in different contexts in Chicago most recently, producing a four-hour interactive experience at Beverly Arts Center curated by Sal Campbell on September 28, 2024.

See more about Carron Little and her other projects below.

Following Carron’s presentation, we’ll have a short time for Q&A.

We’ll then welcome announcements – from Board members, Issue Committee Chairs, Branch leaders and everyone else. If you have any question about anything WILPF, this is your chance to ask it!

Zoom in – using this link – and hear about what is happening in WILPF US! Tell us what YOU think!
