After sending the last email in which I said we were sold out at the Charlotte TOR I heard from a number of table renters who had waited to pull the trigger. After reworking the floor layout and securing more tables I was able to accommodate everyone but we are absolutely full now with 118 tables spoken for.

Now comes the blitz! Last night at the Blue & Gold Banquet for the host pack I implored the parents to do the #1 thing they could to help the event - show up! Thursday night I am visiting the South Charlotte Round Table to make an announcement and giveaway coffee mugs. I've also have a friend passing out fliers in the next council over that night down in Rock Hill, SC.
I got a really small collection in this week but rather than do the full live sale I'll just post it up for sale in the Scout Patch Collectors Facebook group later today. This is the one where the guy went to the 1965 NOAC and did some trading.
At last night's Blue & Gold we had 27 AOL Scouts among 3 dens (including girls) who earned Cub Scout's highest award. Next year it will be my son's turn to stand up in front of the pack at the end of his journey. We started in Charlotte at Tigers and next year he will cross the bridge into a Scouts BSA troop.
I am always looking for new groups to reach out to regarding the Charlotte TOR. If you are in a neighboring lodge let me know if I can send fliers to help get some collectors to come out.

In Charlotte, North Carolina I have an antique mall booth that is filled with nothing but Scouting stuff. I call this location my clearance center because I've marked down everything to move. A lot of what you will find there are items that are too bulky to easily ship from an Internet store. The booth is located in The Sleepy Poet which is a well established antique mall on South Blvd in Charlotte. The mall is open 7-days/week year round. So the next time you are in the area come check it out.
