Wow!  I went to my antique mall for the first time in over four months (since Corona hit).  It was like a bomb went off and then a tornado came through and scattered the remains.  It's kinda unbelievable how people will leave stuff on the ground and knock all the books down etc.  But an hour later it was all cleaned up and I even managed to add 2 boxes of carded patches and a bunch of patch vests and jackets.
Vintage Scouting Memorabilia On eBay
After a July 4th holiday trip my employee Julie is back today.  She is the one on the team that handles shipping out Best Hobby Pages.  So if you have place an order with us since last Friday look for it to be shipped today.

Today when I leave the warehouse I'll be taking the new kitten for it's first Vet visit.  I choose a clinic that is really close to work for me as I knew I'd be the designated adult doing this chore.  I think the rule is if you bring it home you are responsible for it applies.  Right now the little guy is hiding so I better be able to find him before 4 PM.
Scouting Auctions Ending Soon on eBay
So far I haven't heard any bad stories out of the camps that decided to open.  I know a SM who took almost 50 boys to Camp Rainey Mountain this week.  If all goes well I hope that is a sign that the OA Momentum event scheduled for the first week in August will go off too without a hitch.  I am signed up and am looking forward to it.

Patchblanket eBay Store Santeeswapper
This week on the auction front I'm starting up listings from recent collection purchases on ScoutPatchHQ. On Patchsniper I still have 175 auctions running on SAPs with a couple dozen ending nightly. On OApatch you can find 206 live auctions on OA issues.
Next week I'll probably be going back to the antique mall to spend a day adding my dad's old Lionel Trains.  My mom things they will do good there and since she is the one pushing me to sell them that settles the question.  In the mean time I've got to do a little homework on them for pricing etc.

In Charlotte, North Carolina I have an antique mall booth that is filled with nothing but Scouting stuff.  I call this location my clearance center because I've marked down everything to move.  A lot of what you will find there are items that are too bulky to easily ship from an Internet store.  The booth is located in The Sleepy Poet which is a well established antique mall on South Blvd in Charlotte.  The mall is open 7-days/week year round.  So the next time you are in the area come check it out.
