I will be at Chris Jensen's Pre-NOAC Trade-O-Ree in July. I don't think I've missed one this century come to think of it. One special offer I'm rolling out today is you can order Best Hobby Pages online and I'll deliver them to the show for free. If you place your order now online I can have it packaged up and ready to hand to you and save on the s&h charge. Use discount code "PickUp" when you check out or this
link will auto-populate the discount and waive the postage fee.
Vintage Scout Memorabilia Up First In The HF
This afternoon will literally be the longest stretch of time I have to prepare for the TOR before I push off from Charlotte on July 27. I hope to put together some nice frames with good stuff and nail down my trading stock for the event. Tomorrow I am back to camp for another ten days and then after that it's almost two straight weeks of family vacation.
One of the things I'm excited to bring to the show is pieces from a 1950s time capsule collection that I picked up before camp. Based out of Tennessee this collection features items that were traded for at the 1953 Jamboree and NOACs in 1952 and 1954. There is some pretty good stuff in there and the TOR will be my first chance to offer it up.
I will also have all the Best Hobby Pages products with me of course. I'm not going to bring a lot of stuff since my time is limited so I will literally have only one table at the show. No huge dollar tubs this time just the bare essentials.
On August 6 I will be back in the office and will start an aggressive schedule of auctions and building up my stores. I'm going to have a lot of time at NOAC to hang out with Brad England and we have some cool ideas to hash out for some new projects that will go live in the fall.
Hopefully July will not be so crazy for me that I'll be forced to take another hiatus from the Hot Finds. That was not my intentions going into the summer but camp just overwhelmed my time. I'm hoping I can still publish over the next 10 days of wrapping up camp.

In Charlotte, North Carolina I have an antique mall booth that is filled with nothing but Scouting stuff. I call this location my clearance center because I've marked down everything to move. A lot of what you will find there are items that are too bulky to easily ship from an Internet store. The booth is located in The Sleepy Poet which is a well established antique mall on South Blvd in Charlotte. The mall is open 7-days/week year round. So the next time you are in the area come check it out.
