"It was great....it was amazing".  Those words were how my daughter described her first camping trip in the new Scouts BSA program with Troop 233 when we were on the way home. this despite the fact that the temps got down below freezing Saturday night (hey we are from North Carolina!). As I explained to her the best part is she gets to go camping every month with her friends and for that reason she is hooked.
This Weekend Is Loaded With Auctions
Many of you would recognize the program for the weekend.  Running the scouts through the basics of personal fitness, first aid and Scout skill to start attacking those early rank requirements.  Our Scouts (23 in all this weekend) divided into 3 patrols and bonded through working in the axe yard, running a mile for Tenderfoot and learning what a duty roster is.

Order of the Arrow Auctions Up For Bids
In patch world I've been going through boxes in my warehouse and have discovered some items that have been missing for years.  Friday I sold 7 of the classic Boy Scout expandable patch collectors notebooks (the ones with the handles).  I also sold a BSA signal set all through Facebook.  It's a wonderful thing when you can pull a box off the shelf and find it a new home with a few clicks of the mouse.

Auctions Are The Hot Finds Secret
As I sort things in the warehouse I've invested in a new set of clear plastic tubs with hopes that at the upcoming Charlotte TOR I can have all my inventory sorted and available from Boy's Life patches to foreign Scout stuff. This sort is also helping me pull together items for the silent auction which should feature about 500 items.

Patchblanket Santeeswapper eBay Store
During a recent inventory of some items in my eBay inventory it was crazy to find how many patches I had in a box which I thought were listed on eBay but in fact were not.  I am sure that somewhere it's human error since surely eBay system is flawless.  I guess I should view the hundreds of patches found as just free inventory that I can now relist.

I've gotten some great feedback from the video I posted on CSPs.  Tom Jones has corresponded back and forth with me and shared some wonderful feedback on his memories that I have included on the show notes page for the video.
