Adult Fellowship: Our September gathering will be coffee and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall. Wednesday, September 4, 10am.
SeptemberFest: Sunday, September 8 is our annual SeptemberFest! We will be having our worship service outdoors followed by an all-church picnic. Details will be posted soon! Sunday, September 8.
Women's Tuesday Bible Study: The next Tuesday Bible Study will take you through the book Nehemiah: The Courage to Face Opposition . See website for more info. Begins Tuesday, September 10, 9:30-11am .
new REAL Men: REAL Men is a group that believes God is actively working in our lives, and that we all have a story that He wants us to tell. It is not a Bible study or an accountability group, and it is not exclusive to RRC, so invite others! Each meeting will feature a speaker. Meet at Arnie's Restaurant, 34 S Squires St, downtown Rockford. The restaurant isn't open at that time, so we have the place to ourselves. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. Friday, September 13, 7am.
Ladies' Book Club: The Ladies Book Club is always open to new faces! We meet the last Thursday of the month at 7pm in the Fireside Room. This is not a Bible study or religious book study – books from a wide variety of genres are picked. September's book is Code Name: Lise by Larry Loftis. Thursday, September 26, 7-8:30pm .
Adult Single Ladies' Lunch : Each month we meet at a restaurant, then head back to church for games and dessert in the Fireside Room. Please RSVP with Carol Knox. Saturday, September 28, 1pm. Location: Swan Inn Restaurant.
North Kent Pastor's Feud: An evening of fun and games to benefit North Kent Connect. Teams of Pastors, Rotarians, Lions and community leaders battle against each other by naming the most popular answers to various survey questions. We have two participants this year – Pastor Tim and Amanda Gerhardt (Cedar Springs Rotary). Please contact Dianne Bennett by September 6 if you are interested in free tickets. Thursday, October 10, 6pm.
After-Service Socials: Join us in the gym after each service this summer for an opportunity to connect with people in a relaxed atmosphere. Don’t miss this chance to meet, greet, and eat! Snacks may be simple, such as cookies and milk, but each week is a surprise! Sundays.
Monday Night Golf: For $15, you get 9 holes and a cart on one of Michigan’s top courses. Tee times start at 5pm. No reservations are needed. See our website for details. Mondays at 5pm.
Men's Prayer Breakfast: Join us in the Fellowship Hall (Room 100) any time. Fellowship, prayer, devotional, coffee, and maybe donuts! Tuesdays at 7am.
Life Groups: A Life Group is a small group of 8-12 people that focuses on three priorities – sharing, study, and support. Life Group members will commit to meet together at least every other week through the school season—and even better, through the summer. We call these “Life Groups” because they are focused on (1) helping us grow in our life in Christ and (2) sharing life together. If you are interested in joining a life group or starting one up, please contact our Life Group Coordinator, Pam Jacobs .
