Youth Activities from Heather
Don't Worry
Last week in our eBlast we explored the items in our backpacks. We discovered each thing has its own unique purpose but also they work together to help us do our best in school. God has given each of us special gifts, talents, personalities, and experiences. We are each different, but all work together to be God’s hands in this world.
You have been specially made by God. There is no one exactly like you. God made you a very unique person!
I know that I am different than my friends. Sometimes I worry I won’t do as well as my friends. Sometimes I get worried about learning new things. Sometimes I worry about getting my work done. What are you worried about?
This week we learn about what Jesus said about worrying.  What do you think he said? Keep exploring this eBlast to find out!

Live in love and smile!
Heather
Jesus tells us how God cares for the lilies in the fields and the birds in the sky, and reminds us that God knows all of our needs. We are important to Him, and He provides for us. Don't worry about anything.

So don’t worry, because I am with you. Don’t be afraid, because I am your God. I will make you strong and will help you. I will support you with my right hand that saves you.

Wood Disc Donations
We are still accepting wood discs for upcoming youth projects. If you have some wood and can cut them into 2 - 2 1/2" discs we would greatly appreciate that.
Next week we will begin regular Children and Youth online “Compassion Camp” services. We anticipate that this series will run for 10 weeks, ending just into the start of advent. The worship is designed for the whole family. During these gatherings we will learn what it means to have compassion for others, ourselves, and the world. We will sing, pray, share and listen to God’s word. There will be activities to do as a family and ones to share to our wider community. Packages will be dropped off at your homes or can be picked up at the Church. These packages will help you get the full experience of “Compassion Camp”. Volunteers are needed to help with scripture, prayers and skits. Please contact Heather ([email protected]) for more information.
