As we enter our 2022 Giving Season we want to reflect on our journey this year so far as a church family.

Since the start of Covid, every year brings in what seems to be a brand new set of challenges. Between the ongoing pandemic, rises in violence, natural disasters and terror attacks, the Church's calling to be the hands & feet of Jesus has never been stronger! Join us next Sunday, November 14th, for Commitment Sunday as we pledge our tithes, offerings, prayers, and our time to bear fruit in 2022.

Together, let's lead a Harvest of Hope!

An important part of your family legacy.

An important part of your family legacy.

The holidays are about family, about caring for each other..

One of the best things families can do while they are together (or talking by phone or Facetiming) is to discuss future plans. Plans for marriage, for a job change, for a move, for the children – and plans for the senior members’ preferred long-term care arrangements.

One of those discussion points is burial arrangements, plans that are best made BY the senior to his/her specifications and FOR the adult children so that they don’t have to wonder what their folks would have wanted, especially in a time when they are dealing with their own grief.

We invite you to call and visit the Celebration Resurrection Chapel and Memorial Garden for details on the only resting place in Celebration or close proximity. We can also help you with some other long-term care decision-making at that time. One hint: don’t talk about money over the turkey dinner! Contact us:

-Encouragement from the Pastor-

I can remember starting out as a young pastor and the stewardship season would come around on the calendar. Talking to the members about giving money released terror in my soul! What if they got mad at me for meddling in their personal lives? What if I offended someone reminding them God asks for a generous heart? What if a visitor comes to Church and gets offended, “Just like I thought all the church wants is my money!”

But as I have matured in my faith, I’ve come to understand the power of this part of our discipleship. Building Christ’s kingdom, sharing His love, expanding His reach is our assignment as His followers. When we commit to His agenda is when the special movements of God occurs in our lives. The Lord comes alive in the most fantastic ways both in our personal circumstances as well as in the lives we attempt to touch.

We get one shot at leaving a spiritual legacy on earth. How exciting to imagine being in heaven and comparing notes with other Christians: When were you on earth? And discussing how we saw the Lord move through our lives when we stepped out in faith. Or meeting people in heaven because of our faith!

We want to be a church that has a vision big enough to honor the greatness of our God. Such a vision requires God’s involvement.

With my personal finances when the focus shifts off myself to being a game changer in eternity, suddenly the Spirit within comes alive and all the things I’m worried about will be added unto me… Let’s remember 1Cor. 2:9 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him!”

Let’s jump in on this adventure of faith and give--trusting God.
