STATEMENT OF WELCOME AND INCLUSION
We welcome all people to the life of this congregation. We believe that we are all in need of God’s love and grace and that God, through Jesus Christ, intends the church to be a community that incarnates love, grace, and justice for all people. Holding true to that belief, we welcome and encourage all persons, including persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities, in every aspect of our Christian life together.

If you struggle with grief, consider joining our weekly grief support meeting. Starting on Monday, September 25th at 6:15 pm you'll find a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. By attending weekly meetings, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

And did you know that they all are buried in Rosehill Cemetery on Chicago’s north side? Watch for announcements of a walking tour of Rosehill Cemetery to take place on October 7, 2023.
