Our Stewardship Matters
FEED-MORE Thanksgiving Offering
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” This Thanksgiving, we will not be able to gather in front of the altar adorned with filled-to-the-brim food bags. Your gift of food is still critically important to Richmond’s many hungry families. It's DOERS doing!

For almost 50 years, Feed-More has been collecting, preparing, and distributing food to neighbors in need across 34 counties and cities in Central Virginia. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have served double and sometimes triple the number of folks needing food.

Throughout the week of Thanksgiving, please participate in our annual Thanksgiving food collection.
For details and more about FEED-MORE, click here.

Together we give thanks for our ability to give to those in need, and also give to this church to sustain our ministries. Because WE are the church.

When you give to our church, you become a vital participant in building Christ’s Kingdom on earth. Thank you for making an annual gift commitment for 2021 by clicking on doers.org/give or by contacting Suzanne Hall .
More Events in November
NEEDED House Church Pilots Volunteers!
During Advent, we are experimenting with an ancient form of worship that is new to us at St. James’s: House Churches!

It’s our hope that in their various forms, these House Churches will provide a space for more connection with one another, rich engagement with the traditions of Advent, and an opportunity to invite friends and neighbors into our worship. We will provide an order of worship and support for Sunday evenings.
For questions or more information, reach out to Hilary Streever or Blake Singer

If you’re interested in any form of Advent House Church, sign up here by November 23
