"Romancing the Wind"
Ray Bethell is Canadian, in his 80's and he is deaf. The ending is amazing!

One fine day...we will all be back. Take a look at what's happening now at St. Francis!

From David Decrow...

St. Francis Steeple Trivia

"The steeple structure is built in four parts, starting top to bottom; spire, lantern, belfry, and tower. It appears that the steeple structure was added to the original church building sometime later. The steeple structure is timber frame post and beam that starts at the attic floor level continuing up through the spire top.

As you can see from the bare wood on the spire there was lots of preparation that went into the painting; scraping, replacing dry rotted wood, and caulking seams ."
That's an eighty foot rental lift. Blue Hill harbor is visible from the spire top.
Wednesday Seekers
(1st and 3rd Wednesdays)

St Francis by the Sea is offering an excellent adult ed at 10 AM, first and third Wednesdays. The discussion yesterday was really interesting.

We are coming from various points of view and everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate.

Good stuff! Good conversation!

From Fr. Brent-

The Dream of God .   I encourage you to buy it locally.

From Sue Grindle---
We have gotten some lovely thank you notes from the allocations we have sent out. Friends in Action is using our donation to transport patients for dialysis and cancer treatments. Tree of Life has received our donation for the Rosborough Scholarship and still plans to donate it to a deserving 2020 graduate. Volunteers for Hancock County Jail will be supplying extra postage stamps to folks on the inside who cannot visit with their loved ones. The Free Medical Clinic in Ellsworth is grateful for our donation as they continue to cope with Covid-19 and all of the extra needed cleaning and sterilization processes. And The Eagles' Nest sent a lovely handmade thank you for cleaning supplies. I also received a thank you note from their parent organization, OHI, as it appears that one of you has anonymously made a donation via a $200.00 gift card. How thoughtful and kind! I add my sincere thanks as well.
Christmas in July! Thank you for sending us these
"Glass Players"
