CELEBRATING COMMUNITY

Garden Blessing Last Sunday

We're grateful for all who help tend this sacred space and for the many parishioners who support our garden ministry. Together, we're living out our call to share Christ’s love by cultivating food that will nourish our neighbors and strengthen our community. Thank you for caring about this ministry and for helping us share God’s bounty with the wider community. May the seeds planted in this garden continue to bear fruit — in both harvest and hope — for all.

FY2027 STEWARDSHIP

HELP US FINISH STRONG

As we approach the close of our fiscal year on June 30, we give thanks for the generosity that continues to sustain and strengthen the mission of St. Paul’s Indy. Every gift made helps support worship, pastoral care, outreach, music, formation, hospitality, and the many ministries that make us a place of belonging and hope. If you have not yet made a gift this fiscal year, or are able to make an additional contribution, now is the time. Every gift, of every size, helps us finish the year strong and continue the work God has called us to do. Click below or text FY2027 to 97000 to make your pledge today.

THIS WEEEND

BRVA DUCK RACE

Saturday, June 6, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Guilford Ave., near Westfield Blvd.

We’ll be at the Broad Ripple Duck Race with a St. Paul's Indy booth. This festival features family activities, music, giveaways, and the famous rubber duck race down the canal at approximately 12:30 p.m. Be sure to stop by and say hello! If you've never been to the Duck Race, click here to learn more and plan to come be in community with our neighbors.

FIRST SUMMER FELLOWSHIP GATHERING

Sunday, June 7, 10:15-11 a.m.

St. Paul's Courtyard (weather-allowing)/Lilly Room contingency

Plan to join for the first Summer Fellowship gathering this year, graciously hosted by Ann Hinson, John Thorpe, Rick Bernhardt & Leah Ehlhardt. This cherished time of being in community over coffee and a light snack will occur on four future Sundays as well. 'Care to be a helping hand with one of four simple roles (bringing light snacks, helping with setup, assisting during fellowship time, and helping with cleanup)? We still need volunteers on July 26 and August 9, and could use a few hands for setup and cleanup on June 21. Please click below to sign up:

FILL PLATES, BUILD COMMUNITY

Sundays, June 7 & 14, Burrows Commons

Second Helpings provides nutritious meals for Hoosiers in need, and we'd like to help them by donating pasta for this purpose. Last year, St. Paul's parishioners donated more than 100 pounds of pasta to Second Helpings; we'd like to surpass that! Look for collection boxes in Burrows Commons to place boxes of dry pasta, especially spaghetti and elbow macaroni. Your contribution makes a difference to our community!

NO BAD SIDES HERE

Let us snap a photo of you and/or your family!

Sundays, June 7 & 14, Burrows Commons

Between the 8:30 and 10 a.m. services, and again following the 10 a.m. service

Can Pam recognize you by name? Can you recognize fellow parishioners? Help us put faces with names and strengthen our community by updating your photo in the St. Paul's Realm directory.

Whether you've changed your look, your family has grown, or you've never added a photo to Realm at all, stop by Burrows Commons to have members of the Intergen Team take a well-lit photo, answer any questions about Realm, or help update your directory information. Photos will be captured for anyone who would like an updated directory photo or needs one for the first time. As we welcome a new settled rector and continue welcoming newer members, having current photos helps us better recognize one another and build community.

ANNOUNCEMENTS & EVENTS

DO YOU KNOW ABOUT OUR MEAL TRAIN MINISTRY?

One simple way to share Christ’s love and care for fellow parishioners is through the St. Paul’s Meal Train Ministry. Through MealTrain, St. Paul's volunteers are connected with parishioners welcoming a new baby, recovering from illness or surgery, experiencing loss, or who could otherwise use a helping hand through a meal/meals. Volunteers then provide home-cooked food, restaurant meals, and/or gift cards to MealTrain recipients. Joining the team as a volunteer simply means receiving notifications when a meal train is organized; there is no obligation to participate each time.

'Interested in joining the volunteer team? To join the Meal Train team as a volunteer, click here to email Tana Hunnicutt or call her at 317.253.1277.

Would meals help you/your family? If you or your family would like support from your St. Paul’s community in the form of meals, please click here to email Susie Holtz, or click here to email George Slenski, Meal Train Ministry Co-coordinators.‍

JOIN US FOR FELLOWSHIP, BASEBALL, AND FIREWORKS

...while supporting St. Paul's

Friday, August 7, 7:05 p.m. gametime

Victory Field

Enjoy a summer evening at an Indianapolis Indians game with St. Paul's family and friends. This Faith & Fellowship-themed night, with the Indians playing against the Iowa Cubs, is sure to be a great time! We've reserved shaded seats directly behind home plate (rows R, S, and T in section 112) and the evening concludes with fireworks. Best of all, $4 from every ticket purchased benefits St. Paul's. If at least 15 attend, "St. Paul's Episcopal Church" will be featured on the scoreboard during the game too. Plan to join us! Please use the link below to purchase your tickets directly through the Indians' fundraiser site:
