ANOTHER SPOOFING ATTEMPT
Please stay alert!
Unfortunately, fraudulent emails and text messages impersonating clergy and staff continue to target St. Paul’s Indy and other churches and nonprofits. These scams may appear to come from someone you know and trust, making them difficult to recognize. Please remain vigilant and take a moment to verify unexpected messages before responding, clicking links or sending money or gift cards. Your awareness is one of the best ways to protect yourself and our community. Click below for tips on recognizing and reporting fraudulent messages.

STREETS TO HOME: HELP OUR NEIGHBORS FIND HOME
At least 280 people experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis have found housing through Streets to Home Indy, a community-wide effort to make homelessness brief and non-recurring. Last year, St. Paul’s raised more than $50,000 for the initiative and provided more than 18 move-in kits for neighbors transitioning into housing. This year, St. Paul’s Community Engagement team, through its Faith in Action mission, is committing $25,000 and inviting the congregation to match that gift with an additional $25,000! Learn more in Burrows Commons beginning Sunday, October 18. On Sunday, November 15, Rabbi Dr. Aaron Spiegel of the Greater Indianapolis Multifaith Alliance will preach at the 9 and 11:15 a.m. services, and Chelsea Haring-Cozzi, CEO of CHIP, will speak at the 10:15 a.m. Adult Faith Forum that day. From November 15–22, you may donate online, by check (write “Streets to Home” in the memo line) or at the donation table in Burrows Commons. Together, we can share Christ’s love, create community and strive for justice by helping more of our neighbors find a place to call home. Click below to learn more:

Technology & The Human Heart

With so much information available about the pros and cons of technology, this is an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns and engage in meaningful face-to-face conversation with others in our community. This adult-only event is a precursor to St. Paul’s year-long focus on mental wellness in 2027. If interest is expressed, childcare may be offered. Please click here to email Stacy Hennessy if childcare is needed for you to attend, or if you have questions.
