Join us for our new Bible Study, "He Chose the Nails" beginning on Wednesday, April 8.

Every gift from God reveals his love, but no gift reveals his love more than the gifts of the cross. These gifts came not wrapped in paper but in passion. They were not placed around a tree but around a cross. They were not covered with ribbons but sprinkled with the blood that Christ shed on our behalf. In this Bible study, Max Lucado explores the many gifts that Christ provided to us at his crucifixion. These include not only the gift of the cross, but also the gift of the thorns that pierced his brow. The nails that tore his flesh. The seamless robe that he removed for us. The empty tomb where he forever defeated sin and death.

We want you to join our Partners In Care Ministry!

What is  Partners in Care ? Partners in Care is a newly formed congregational care team that helps those congregants who are in the hospital or rehab, those facing health challenges, and those that are homebound. PCs meet quarterly as a team for supervision and education. They visit retirement homes, rehab centers, nursing facilities, and homes of members who can no longer attend church. PCs are trained to administer communion and use anointing oil as requested and may also offer a listening ear for prayer and encouragement, support grieving or otherwise distressed members, and/or be involved with other specialized ministries and/or support groups.
Stop by the Mezzanine level of the Commons to experience our Lenten Prayer Labyrinth.

Throughout the season of Lent, you are invited to come and walk our Lenten Labryrinth for a time of prayer and reflections. The labyrinth will be available beginning Sunday, March 1, through Easter Sunday, April 12. We know that taking time to walk in the labyrinth will help you to deepen your walk with God throughout Lent.
Do you know someone who is in need of a Prayer Shawl?

Prayer Shawls are made by talented individuals who pray over them as they are made. They can bring comfort and calm into a situation that is anything but that. At Custer Road, we try to help others by showing them we care by providing them with a prayer shawl.

Do you know someone who is going through a health crisis or dealing with chronic medical issues? Consider presenting them with a crocheted prayer shawl so that they can be “wrapped in prayer” as they face difficult situations. Click on the button below to request a prayer shawl.

Communion Offering
This month's Communion offering is going towards Sharing Shoes and Joy in Peru.
Our Communion Offering this month will be used to purchase new shoes for children and to send Custer Road members to Peru in July to deliver them.
What child doesn’t love getting a new pair of shoes? New shoes are fun! They’re clean, bright and colorful! New shoes help a child run faster, jump higher, and go further!
They also provide important benefits. Shoes protect against disease and infection. They allow children to attend school. They provide hope by demonstrating worth and God’s love to orphans and vulnerable children, and they help connect families to ministries that can transform their lives. Why NEW shoes? New shoes last longer, and as a gift to a child with few possessions, they communicate volumes about his or her inherent worth. Simply put, we think the children we serve are worth it.
