Annual Turkey Lunch

Cost: $17/per person. $3 from every meal will be donated to the Partners in Mission Food Bank. Additional cash donations will be accepted.

Details: It’s that time of year again! Celebrate the holiday season with your colleagues with Providence Cares annual “turkey dinner” lunch. A delicious turkey dinner with all of the trimmings, juice and dessert will be prepared.
Christmas Tree Lighting

Founders' Day

Details: Everyone is invited to wear red and purple to celebrate Founders' Day.

Founders' Day is a day to acknowledge the contribution of four Sisters who made the journey to Kingston to help care for some of the city's most vulnerable.

We will be recognizing Founders' Day with annual greetings from the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

Details: For more than 40 years, the Salvation Army Toy Mountain has ensured less fortunate children in our community have something to unwrap during the holiday season. Providence Care is helping to collect donations and asking staff to consider gifting toys for children eight and younger. Please note all gifts must be unwrapped. Winter Wear Drive

Details: It's that time of year again where we collect winter wear for the marginalized in our community and for our own patients/clients. We will also be supporting St. Mary’s drop-in centre and other organizations in our community.

Items needed:
  • ski coats (no wool coats or dress coats)
  • water-proof winter boots (no dress boots)
  • water-proof gloves, hats/scarves (non-knitted)
  • non-wool blankets
  • warm socks
  • warm hoodies
  • undergarments
