2018-19 Board of Directors
A celebratory reception held at the new Chase’s at D Street Square marked the official installation of the 2018-19 Board of Directors for the La Verne Chamber of Commerce.
Accepting the role and duty of a Board member means officers and directors are charged with the responsibility to promote member businesses and organizations, protect the organizations assets and to ensure members receive an honest accounting for their investment of time and financial support. “The board of directors is the highest governing authority within the management structure of the Chamber. It is the board’s responsibility to oversee and to ensure the appropriateness of operations and procedures.” says Leah Skinner, Executive Director of the La Verne Chamber of Commerce.
Also celebrated that night were the 44 new business that joined the chamber this past year, and 28 members that were celebrating milestone anniversaries from 5 to 30 years of chamber membership.   2018-2019 Board of Directors
