Dear Trinity Episcopal Church,
This past week our family took a vacation to Austin. We reconnected with some old college friends, showed our daughter the church where we married (All Saints', Austin), and had some relaxing time around the hotel pool. I hope that you, too, have been able to slow down at some point this summer.
But, in many ways, this felt like the deep breath before the plunge because this fall is going to be busy! Trinity is celebrating our Welcome Back Weekend in just a few weeks, school is about to start, and we have some new programs planned for the fall. This is going to be an exciting program year with lots of opportunities for growth, worship, and fellowship.
With peace,
Welcome Back Weekend
Friday, August 19 through Sunday, August 21

We are hosting fellowship gatherings across Galveston that weekend. We encourage you to sign up for the gathering that is physically closest to you so that you can get to know your Trinity neighbors better.

You can make a gift for altar flowers online or by using one of the envelopes in the Narthex.

New Sunday School Schedule
Starting Sunday, August 21

At 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, Trinity will have Sunday School for children and adults. That way, all people in our congregation can grow in their faith every week.
The new children's Sunday School program, Godly Play, is a Montessori based curriculum that invites our children to explore the Holy Scriptures and the Christian faith.
Children's Chapel, which takes place during the 10:30 a.m. worship service, will continue.
Adult Sunday School for Fall 2022 will focus on Christian faith expressed through art.
Keynote Speaker
Trinity is proud to have Donald Romanik kick off our Adult Sunday School series for the fall on August 21. Donald serves as the President of the Episcopal Church Foundation, an independent, lay-led and inclusive organization that helps build, vitalize and transform Episcopal faith communities focusing on formation, finance and resources. His experience across the Episcopal Church will help us consider our own faith and stewardship.
Join Jimmy for a brief video bible study. This series of bible studies reviews the scripture lessons for Sunday so that you are ready for worship.
