Sacramento New Homes Facebook Page
Mike Strech
The Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) strives for innovation in everything they do.  They consistently ask, how can we be more advanced and unique? Earlier this year, an SMC committee was formed to address a need for change regarding the Sacramento Home Tour.  The Builder Marketing Committee (BMC) brainstormed and came up with a new way for builders to market their events; what was Sacramento Home Tour will now be the Sacramento New Homes Facebook page.

The Sacramento New Homes page will be updated with content throughout the year promoting events, featured content and homebuyer interest articles. This page is free to builders members of the BIA and will be funded through limited sponsorship from an associate member.

The page is designed to be a one-stop-shop for homebuyers that are looking to buy new homes in the Sacramento area. With a healthy combination of builder marketing and consumer interest articles, the BMC hopes to educate buyers on the benefits of owning a home and why new homes are a great option.

SMC Chair, Mo Rahim, expressed his excitement about the new page, "Converting the Sacramento Home Tour Facebook page to the Sacramento New Homes Page will be a great opportunity to get new homes to consumers throughout the year. I think there is great potential to reach new prospective buyers at no cost to builders."

The Sacramento New Homes page is a welcome new edition to the resources that North State BIA provides to its members. I encourage everyone to like and share this Facebook page so we can extend our reach throughout the Sacramento area.  We are excited about this new opportunity and we hope that all builders will submit posts and get involved.
