Continuing This Sunday: All Fired Up!
Last summer we joined Christ Pres. and Community West Churches in a cooperative preaching series, and it was so much fun we're doing it again for the first six weeks of this summer. Our series this year is All Fired Up - the Church in the Power of the Spirit. The remaining Sundays, scripture passages, and preachers are:
- June 11, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Kevin Germer (Christ Pres.)
- June 18, John 20:19-22, Nelson Ould (Community West)
- June 25, 1 Sam. 19:23-24, Acts 2:12-13, 1 Cor. 14:40, Keith Hill
- July 2, Ephesians 5:15-21, John Daniel (newly retired Pastor of Crestwood)
- July 9, John 14:15-17,25-26, Sarah Marsh Schutte
The name of the series is our goal - that all three congregations would be Fired Up in the Power of the Spirit!

An empty storefront on Meadowbridge Road in Highland Park is about to open as a creative space where young people can learn advocacy, develop leadership skills and explore career opportunities.
Dubbed the Six Points Innovation Center, or 6PIC, and fueled by a $500,000 grant from the Robins Foundation, the space is aimed at giving teens new options in life.
Two years in the making, 6PIC officially will

A word from Jo White, Saving Our Youth, VA
We would like to send a very hearty THANK YOU to St. Giles and our fellow St. Gileans for all your support with the Saving Our Youth gala a couple of weeks ago. We'd like to give special THANKS to the Women's Ministry, Donna Roman and those who donated items for the auction. With your help, we were successful in netting over $3,000 which will be used for programs and business expenses. So again, thank you for your support with the gala and your continued support throughout the years.

Praise Report from "An Evening of Blessing"
Once again the people of St. Giles have searched their hearts and given to further the Kingdom of God! Through sacrificial giving on "An Evening of Blessing" in April, $3,600 was donated to drill two wells; one in Ghana and one in Nigeria. Both will provide clean drinking water and be a demonstration of the love of Jesus. Thank each of you who came, listened, heard, prayed, loved and gave, sending life-giving clean water and sharing the Living Water to the precious people of these villages. It truly was "An Evening of Blessing".

Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship Classes [May 28-July 2]
The Prodigal God by Tim Keller
In this six-session small group Bible study, pastor and bestselling author Timothy Keller uses one of Jesus' best-loved parables - the Prodigal Son - to illustrate the depth of God's love and how his grace extends into some very unexpected places. Taking you beyond the traditional focus on the wayward younger son, Keller helps you glean insights from each of the characters in Jesus' parable: the irreligious younger son, the moralistic elder son, and the Father who lavishes his love on both. This class provides a video, discussion, and exercises that will help you experience the truths of Jesus' parable in your own life. Whether you're a devout believer or a skeptic,
The Prodigal God
will challenge you to see Christianity in a whole new way.
The Prodigal God
is a revelation of the very heart of the gospel: God's radical love for sinners of every kind. Find your place at the table!
9:30 AM: Meets in Robins Room, facilitated by Bill Sneddon, Jo White, and Emily Masloff
11 AM: Meets in Upstairs Adult Classroom, facilitated by Nathaniel Lyle, Marci Meeks, and Bill and Bev Walters.
