Nevada Lawyer Spotlights Environmental Law in April

The April issue of Nevada Lawyer magazine turns its focus to environmental and natural resources law — a practice area taking on heightened significance as Nevada finds itself at the center of some of the West's most pressing legal battlegrounds.

Michelle Fairbank takes an in-depth look at the legal dimensions of lithium and critical minerals mining in Nevada. Radhika Kunnel examines water law, the perennial backbone of environmental practice in the arid West. Linda Bullen, chair of the State Bar of Nevada’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section, highlights the section. And the April issue also includes a CLE article written by Michael Branum that explores how the ruling in Comm’n on Ethics v. Hansen changed to landscape on representing boards.

As always, the magazine includes regular features such as the president’s message, news and notes, and the bar counsel report. While you are there, check out the Nevada Lawyer archives for a lengthy list of back issues.
