Baritone Jesse Blumberg and trumpeter John Thiessen team up in "The Trumpet Shall Sound" from Handel's Messiah
Trumpets are often the heralds of wonderful things, including an especially significant movement within a larger musical work. That's certainly the case with the bravura aria for baritone and trumpet, "The Trumpet Shall Sound," from Handel's Messiah.

A few years ago, we were lucky to enjoy the accomplished duo of Jesse Blumberg and John Thiessen while the cameras were rolling for the filming of "Handel's Messiah in Grace Cathedral."
