Brooke Jackman Foundation Supports Our Kids with Brooke packs!
Once again, EAC Network received a delivery of hundreds of Brookepacks from the  Brooke Jackman Foundation , which has generously supported our youth with backpacks and supplies for many years. Filled with brand new notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, rulers, pencil cases, and books, the backpacks are being distributed to our children in need!
Do You Have New or Gently Used Activities and Art Supplies?
Do you have any crafts or games lying around? Our In-Home Respite Services is in need of easy activities for the seniors! Adult coloring books, easy puzzle books (like word searches), craft paper, playing cards, board games, CDs with music from the 40s-70s, portable CD players, crayons, markers, paint, and colored pencils are all needed! To donate personally or conduct a drive at your company, please contact Sarah Muller at (516) 539-0150 x123 or development@eac-network.org . Donations are 100% tax deductible!
LIDRC Meets with Senator Elaine Phillips
Recently, Trudi McKenley, JaNeen West, and Gregg Scheiner from our Long Island Dispute Resolution Center (LIDRC) met with New York State Senator Elaine Phillips, of District 7 (second from left), to discuss how LIDRC can help her constituents. LIDRC helps members of the community resolve conflicts in an unbiased, calm setting with the help of a trained mediator. Can seniors like Donald count on YOU to go Over the Edge to support older adults in need? Seniors right here on Long Island count on EAC Network's programs like Meals on Wheels to deliver nutritionally balanced meals. Without being able to count on people like you to participate in events like Over the Edge, we couldn't feed these seniors! Will you help seniors like Donald by registering for Over the Edge?
