EAC Network Offices Compete in Health & Wellness Challenges

Congratulations to our Employee Health & Wellness participants at our 60 Plant Avenue, Hauppauge office! They competed with 175 Fulton Street, Hempstead in water drinking and steps challenges and won both, all part of our Employee Health & Wellness Initiative thanks to a grant by Cigna. Their prizes included the much-coveted "Little Lance" doll, a hand-made likeness of our President & CEO. Great job, everyone, and congratulations to Oskar Lopez for winning first place in the water challenge and to Katarzyna Krol for winning the steps challenge!

Safe Start Car Seat Event Held at NFP with Nassau County Police Explorers

NFP recently hosted a car seat safety checkup event for our
Safe Start
program, which promotes the proper use of car seats in order to prevent injuries, with the Nassau County Police Department Explorers. With 75% of car seats improperly installed nationwide, checkup events are vital in teaching parents and guardians how to keep their children safe in motor vehicles.
