PSEG Long Island Donates New Delivery Van for Meals on Wheels Program
"75 additional Long Island seniors will come off a waiting list and start receiving nutritious meals delivered to their homes thanks to EAC Network’s  Meals on Wheels  program and a new delivery van donated by PSEG Long Island."
What's Happening
This Veterans Day, EAC Network paused to honor the fearless, proud, and courageous individuals who served (and serve) our country with honor.

Such a person is Hal Knapp, an EAC Network  In-Home Respite Services  volunteer who served our country with distinction. As a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps, 525th Squadron of the 379th Bombardment Group in WWII, Hal flew 35 missions over Germany and France in a B17 as a Navigator. Hal’s service to our country during WWII was his way of giving back.

In 2014, he revisited Kimbolton, England with members of his former unit to pay homage to his friends who lost their lives in the pursuit of peace. Read more here .
C ar Seat Event Hosted at Amityville Fire Department
Safe Start recently partnered with Leg. DuWayne Gregory , Suffolk County Police Dept. Amityville Police Dept. Toys for Hope,  and  AAA Northeast  for a car seat inspection at the  Amityville Fire Dept. , and it was a huge success! Attendees left the event not only with the learned knowledge of how to properly install a car seat, but many were also eligible to receive a brand new car seat as well.
Board Members, EAC Network staff, and friends alike came together at Eisenhower Park to walk and run 5k in support of our Children & Youth programs that help child victims of abuse, youth in foster care, kids needing supervised visits with their non-custodial parents, and so many more. Thank you to everyone who participated and fundraised! View more photos here .
Brooklyn Office Celebrates Thanksgiving
Staff at our Brooklyn office, who work for programs like TASC , Forensic Intensive Case Management , Alcohol Education , Batterers Intervention , and so many more, came together for a potluck Thanksgiving lunch! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Creating an environment for our families that is safe, happy, and healthy requires the coordinated efforts of multiple community members and various community organizations. In keeping with this principle, EAC Network’s  Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center (CAC)  teamed up with the  Safe Start  program on several of its GEICO-sponsored child passenger safety check events to offer parents and caregivers valuable information regarding child wellness.
