Bob Nystrom and Merrill Zorn are going

Will YOU join them?

Bob Nystrom, NY Islander legend, and Merrill Zorn, President/CEO of Zorn's of Bethpage, have what it takes to go Over the Edge! They believe in the work we do here at EAC Network, and they're supporting us to help Long Islanders in need.

"If people who are truly struggling have the courage to wake up and face the day, then we can find the courage to go Over the Edge and rappel 170 feet!"

Do YOU have what it takes to go Over the Edge to help our neighbors?

What's Happening

Between April 3 and April 7, 2017, the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, invited the public to support our Chance to Advance program, which reduces risk factors for local youth in foster care by promoting life skills and enrichment through one-on-one mentoring and group activities. Over $9,000 was raised between public support and a separate grant. Read more.

On April 2, TLC’s Long Island Medium aired an episode entitled “Victoria’s Test” that featured EAC Network’s very own Meals on Wheels program, from meal preparation to delivery. Theresa Caputo is a longtime supporter of Meals on Wheels. At various live readings, she ends the night with a heartfelt description of Meals on Wheels services, and raises money in support of the program. She is not only passionate about helping people connect with their deceased loved ones, but also about helping our seniors. Read more.

Our Senior Centers provide participants with a hot lunch as well as fun activities like Zumba, bingo, board games, karaoke, and crafts. Occasionally, we have generous volunteers who team up with our Senior Centers to host a special craft, which is exactly what a team from PSEG Long Island did recently. PSEG has a long history of community outreach, and we’re always pleased to have their cheerful, supportive volunteers. Read more .
EAC Network is proud to have a long relationship with the Brooke Jackman Foundation, whose mission is to create and support programs enhancing the literacy and self-esteem of disadvantaged children and their families in and around the New York area. Every year before the start of the school year, we receive a huge delivery of Brooke Packs from the foundation.  Read more.
Crystal Stanton is the Program Director of Staten Island TASC. Get to know her in our Staff Spotlight! "I wish people knew more about the importance of stopping recidivism from a community perspective. I don’t believe that the average citizen is aware just how costly it is to keep someone in jail, and how beneficial various treatments can be to preventing future jail stays." Read more.
