I read this week that the 53rd annual Grammy Awards was the most-watched show on television Sunday night, with some 26.5 million people tuning in. I was not one of them. I don't like awards shows; never have. I really can't explain why. They just hold no interest for me. I love movies, but I don't watch the Oscars. I watch television.....

Student Ministries Tacky Prom
Wednesday, February 22nd, 5:30pm-7:45pm
Student Ministries will be heading to Mountasia Family Fun Center in Fort Worth for our second annual Tacky Prom! Dress as tacky as you can and come ready to skate! The cost is FREE (bring extra money for food). Skates are included but if you would like to bring your own skates or blades please do. There will NOT be rollerblades available to rent. Jr. and Sr. High Mission Trip Meeting
Sunday, February 26th, 12:00-1:00pm, Chapel
Student Ministries will be having a meeting for anyone that is interested in attending the Senior High mission trip in June or the Junior High mission trip in July. Lots of important information will be given out, so even if you're a mission trip veteran, it is still important that you attend this meeting!

Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper
Tuesday, February 28th, 6:00-7:30pm, Chapel
Don't worry about dinner, come and share hot-off-the-grill pancakes with your church family. The dinner will be all donation based with all of the proceeds going directly to youth missions for the summer of 2017!

Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday, March 1st, 6:30pm
The Quad will open at 4:00, but there will be no meal, children's activities or adult Bible study this evening.

Lenten Bible Study - #Overcome
Wednesdays beginning March 8, 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Join Pastor Lee and go deeper into struggles Christians face living in a selfie-centered world. We will delve deeper into issues like contentment, intimacy, authenticity and compassion and how following Christ helps us claim those longings that elude us in today's world. Study offered at two different times for your convenience. For more information contact Lee Trigg.

Triumph Sports Camp
June 19th-22nd, 8:00-11:00am.
Triumph Sports Camp will once again be at AUMC this summer. Children ages 5-12 are welcome. This is a mult-sport camp consisting of fun games like Dodgeball, Kickball, Basketball, and Soccer. To register click here.

Wednesday Night Menu
The upcoming Wednesday night meals are:
February 22 - Chicken Spaghetti
March 1 - Ash Wednesday, no fellowship meal
March 8 - Hamburger Steak and Potatoes
Each meal includes salad, a dessert and drink with a suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family.
