The Road Less Traveled
I recently bought a new tablet to replace my aging Ipad. Since this tablet was new with a lot of available space, I was browsing some of the most popular apps available. I ran across one that really caught my attention. It really wasn't for my tablet; it's designed for a smart....

Tuesday Morning Bible Study, New Study
Starting March 7, 10:00am-Noon, in the Chapel
The new study will be "50 Women Every Christian Should Know" by Michelle DeRusha. This is not a study of women in the Bible but covers 50 women of great faith beginning about 1000 AD and continuing up to the current time.  This will be an exciting study of women that for the most part we've never known about.   Everyone should purchase his or her own book (Christianbook.com, Cokesbury or Amazon are all good sources).  If you have any difficulty in ordering a book or have any questions, please contact Sussie Jordan at 512-923-9268.

Lenten Bible Study - #Overcome
Wednesdays beginning March 8, 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Join Pastor Lee and go deeper into struggles Christians face living in a selfie-centered world. We will delve deeper into issues like contentment, intimacy, authenticity and compassion and how following Christ helps us claim those longings that elude us in today's world. Study offered at two different times for your convenience. For more information contact Lee Trigg.

Holy Conversation
We are preparing to move into our final round of Holy Conversations as part of the As For Me & My House Visioning Process. This last conversation will focus on the question, Who is God calling us to be as a church?

You can sign up to be a part of the Conversation here.

As For Me & My House is a six-month visioning process undertaken by the people of Aledo United Methodist Church to prepare us to follow God's call into the future. In many ways, we stand at a crossroads as a community of faith. Our community is projected to grow at an unprecedented rate in the coming years, and we want to grow with it. For that to happen, we need to be prepared and to plan strategically to move boldly into the future. But it's not just about getting bigger. The future -- our future -- has to be about following God's call and becoming who God is calling us to be.

Your voice needs to be heard!
