The Road Less Traveled
Things have been somewhat chaotic around the church for the past week or so. Last Wednesday evening there was a water main break down the street from us. When the water was turned back on late that night, the pressure blew a valve in the men's restroom i n the hallway between the Narthex and the kitchen, and water flowed all night long. When I arrived early Thursday morning, I found much of that area flooded, including the hallway, four offices and a portion of the Chapel. For the past eight days, we have dodged blowers and dehumidifiers....

Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 29, 4:00-6:00pm, Church Parking Lot
Trunk or Treat is tomorrow! If you will be handing out candy from your car, please make sure that you are set up and ready by 4pm.  You may arrive as early as 3:30 to set up.  We are still in need of volunteers to help with games.  Please contact  Jennifer to sign up.
Operation Christmas Child
Boxes for Operation Christmas Child will be handed out Sunday, October 30th. Packing ideas and due date information will be included with your box.

All Saints Day

Spirituality & Religion
Wednesdays, November 2-16, 6:30pm, Chapel
Fully 25 percent of Americans now identify with no particular faith tradition. They are "Spiritual but not Religious," and increasingly they are turning away from the church. This three-week group study will examine the modern conflict between spirituality and religion and explore how the church can become the bridge that brings the two together.
Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group Meeting
Thursday, Nov. 10th from 1:00-3:00pm 
This month the meeting will be a time of sharing and discussing the challenges of difficult behavior for loved ones with dementia.

Service of Hope
Sunday, November 20, 6:30pm
The magic of the holidays is often missing for those suffering grief and loss. If you are experiencing the loneliness and sadness of loss, you are not alone. We are offering a time for folks to come together, share their pain, and find comfort as we head into the holiday season. We will honor and remember our loved ones in an atmosphere of faith, hope, and love during this special evening service. All are welcome.
