September Communion Offering & Mission Focus

 Covenant Cares

This month’s Communion offering is designated for Covenant Cares, a ministry devoted to caring for our church family and extended community.

Covenant Cares offers support in a variety of thoughtful ways:

• Sending birthday and wedding anniversary cards
• Offering get well wishes to lift spirits
• Arranging meals for those in need through the Take-Them-A-Meal program or with freezer meals
• Sending out our Congregational Care Ministers to our special care members and those need prayer and a visit.

Your support helps us continue these meaningful acts of kindness.

To support Covenant Cares you may make your gift in one of these four ways: (1) make a check payable to Covenant UMC, designated for Covenant Cares and mail it to the church, (2) place your designated check/envelope in the offering plate/basket in any worship service, (3) give online through our website by clicking “Give” and select Communion September - Covenant Cares on the "Fund" list.

The WalkThru the Bible’s NT LIVE event is coming to Covenant UMC on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

POTLUCK ON THE PAVILION

Saturday, October 11^th

 4:00 – 6:00pm

You are invited to join your church family and friends for a potluck on the pavilion! Enjoy a relaxing get together with music and smores by the firepit! Please bring a potluck dish and RSVP so we know how many tables to set up, and so we enough beverages and items for smores. Thank you!
