Praise Prayer Zoom Call - March 15
A group of friends have felt the need for a prayer call to really focus on Who God Is. Anne Lucas and David Smith will facilitate a Praise Prayer Call Monday night March 15 at 8:00pm (Central Time) via Zoom or by telephone. We will start praying promptly at 8:00pm. The Zoom call and phone number are at the end of this announcement.

What is a Praise Prayer Call?
  • It is a call to God's people to stop and praise the Lord for Who He Is!
  • It is a time that we set aside to simply praise, worship and thank the Lord.
  • It is a time to focus on HIS Kingdom not country - we are not gathering to pray for our country, although that is important, we are gathering to praise, worship, and thank God for His Kingdom.
  • It is not a time to ask Him for anything. Just praise, worship, and thank the Lord.
  • It is a time for short, simple prayers of praise.
What do you pray? I love to pray the scriptures. Here are a few examples:
  • Psalm 18:49 "Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O Lord, And I will sing praises to Your name."
  • Psalm 21:13 "Be exalted, O Lord, in Your strength; We will sing and praise Your power."
  • Psalm 22:27 "All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will worship before You."
  • Praise Him for His characteristics, the names He is called in the Bible: King of Kings, Lord of Lords; The Great I Am, My Savior...
Please mute when you join the call and then, unmute to pray or read a praise scripture.

THANK YOU! If you cannot join, please take time to praise the Lord... HE is absolutely worthy of our praise!

Worry, Anxiety, and Fear
Although God has given us the ability to experience fear, the Bible teaches that a paralyzing fear of people, things, and circumstances does not come from God (2 Timothy 1:7). God has given us the spirit of “power and love and self-control” and because of this we can face extreme difficulties and trials without fear.
If you already know that you are in a struggle with anxiety or fear, you have probably tried some approach to control it or have just tried to get through each day hoping that by a miracle you will just “get better.” Any of these solutions are just temporary. God created us with the ability to form habits. If we feel like we are in control of a situation and we get temporary satisfaction from trying to control that situation, this habit can become overwhelming and, eventually, is what becomes our idol. Emotions reveal our hearts. What originates in the heart flows out through the body. And, physical responses of anxiety and fear can be intense, scary, and a habitual part of our lives. But, just as we have developed the habitual thinking that leads to anxiety and fear, we can develop new habit patterns that give us a God-given remedy. Is this a process? Yes, most likely. Will it be difficult at times? Yes, most likely. Is it ultimately worth it? Yes, definitely.
If you or someone you might be concerned for is experiencing anxiety or fear, please go to for help.

New Grief Share Group Starting Tuesday, April 6
As believers, we have great comfort in knowing that a loved one that has died and was a Christian is healthy and happy in heaven. If we believe that with confidence then we also believe that our Father is good, all-knowing and will comfort us. But, even knowing all this, the days and nights can be long and hard. Grief is very personal and does not, necessarily, follow a particular pattern. We are all unique and our circumstances are different. Learning to think about life in a new way can be unsettling and overwhelming. There is much good that God can give us through our pain. How would we know of God’s ability to sustain, guide and comfort us if we didn’t experience the sufferings of this life? Beginning Tuesday, April 6, The Church at Liberty Park will offer a grief support group for help and encouragement.

You might have experienced loss years ago or it could be recent, it could have been a family member or a friend. Every person’s situation is personal and unique. If you need someone to talk to, please join us on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm-8:00pm beginning April 6th. For more information and to sign up, please email Leigh Simmons at
Secret Church 21
On Friday, April 23, 2021, we will join with tens of thousands of people around the world for intense study in God's Word and prayer for the persecuted church as we participate in Secret Church 21.

This year's theme is: The Great Imbalance
Go and make disciples of all nations. A clear command and monumental charge from Jesus. Yet what if, despite our best intentions and sincerest efforts as the church to obey Jesus, we are actually ignoring what He said? At best, what if we have misunderstood Him? And what if much of our efforts are unknowingly keeping millions upon millions of people around the world from eternal life? Further, what if much of our efforts are keeping you and me from experiencing God’s purpose for our lives? Unlike any Secret Church we have ever done, Secret Church 21 is designed to be a ground-breaking journey through God’s Word and around the world that leads to a tectonic shift in the way you view your life, your family, and God’s design for the church. For your eyes will be open not only to a great imbalance that is affecting countless people for eternity, but also to the bold opportunity you have to change it with your time on this earth.

Secret Church will begin at 6:00pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 and conclude at midnight. To learn more and to sign up, visit The cost for the evening is $10 per person with a family maximum of $20.
