A Note from Pastor Randy
This is the focus as we enter into October: 2 Chronicles 7:14 is a verse packed with the key to revival for the church. IF…. God is telling us something with that one word. WE all want healing in our land.
We all want to see an end to the disruption of our cities and personal lives. We all want peace. All of this can come…all of this can happen…IF. Take time to read that verse this week and see all that follows
That one word. We need this series…for us. May God pierce our hearts the next month as we see our role in the revival of HIS church and the healing of our land. LORD, bring a renewal to The Church at Liberty Park!
Join us in person or online this week as we look at what it means to be people called by His name.
Just for Kicks…
I am having so much fun watching our kids play a simple game. It’s an outlet for these young kids to just be kids and the parents to enjoy them. Here are some pics of the action from this past week. We have several families in the community who are participating. This is a simple way to introduce ourselves to them. May God use a little red rubber ball for HIS glory!
Small Group
Hey men I am starting a Tuesday night group on the patio. It will be a great time of fellowship and encouragement for us. We will distance and being outside will be safe. The group will be limited to 8. We will begin October 6 from 7:00-8:30pm. Text me at 205-516-7081 if you want to be a part of this first group. I look forward to hearing from you!

Choir Rehearsals Resume for Christmas
Do you have a passion for worship? Do you love to sing? Does the thought of Christmas immediately make you start smiling? If you answered yes to any of those questions, I think you may be the type of person who is perfect to join us in the Worship Choir as we begin preparing for Christmas! We begin rehearsing tonight, Wednesday, September 30, from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the sanctuary. We encourage masks and will social distance.

If you'd like more details, contact Steven Ray at 205-382-7101 or steven_ray@bellsouth.net or just meet us in the sanctuary on Wednesday nights. If you will need childcare during rehearsals, please let us know ahead of time so we can be sure to have enough help to supervise the children.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
People pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Churches and groups collect these boxes the third week of November. Then, thousands of volunteers inspect and prepare the shoeboxes for international shipping.

This year we will have two ways to be involved in Operation Christmas Child. There are boxes for you and your family to take home and fill as usual. However, this year we will also be having a Families on Mission Day for our community to come stuff boxes together at the church! Go to libertypark.org/occ to sign up to purchase items needed for our boxes, and get them to the church by October 29. Then on November 14 bring your family and friends to the church to help fill up 200 boxes with gifts! If you have any questions, contact ben.stephenson@libertypark.org.

Sunday, October 4 at 6:30pm is our next Family Worship Night! Since we can’t have our weekly Kids Own Worship on Sunday mornings, we want you and your kids to come be part of this special night. We’ll meet in the Sanctuary so we can social distance, but the plan will be just like Kids Worship downstairs. We’ll play games, sing our songs, and I’ll teach a Bible lesson at the end. After we’re finished, we’ll have a shaved ice truck in the parking lot. This will be a fun night for you to worship with your kids and meet some new families. Please make plans to join us!
