Proclamation for Women’s History Month

" Tonight is history, Indiantown is rich with women's history, we do not need to look back on the calendar to prove that. Just to name a few, Irish Wall a rancher daughter of pioneers who bought and restored the historic Seminole continues to make Indiantown prosper. Our own Thelma Waters a go getter woman recognized a problems in Indiantown to correct instead of an excuse not to bother. She was the driving force between bringing health services, library voting precincts, and childcare to Indiantown just to name a few of her accomplishments...".

Lynda Nycum shared words of gratitude towards women that made an impactful change in Indiantown.
