Second Budget Workshop
set for August 10th
The Village Council will hold a
Budget Workshop Wednesday, August 10th to plan for 2023. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in Village Hall. The public is welcome. The Regular Council meeting for Thursday, August 11th has been canceled.

The Council meeting for Thursday, August 11th is canceled. the next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 26th at Village Hall, but the Council will meet for a Budget Workshop August 10th.
Osborne basketball courts
get new pavement, equipment
The basketball courts at Osborne Park have gotten some improvements lately thanks to a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program. The courts were resurfaced last week, and new poles and baskets were installed Tuesday. Lines will be painted Monday, Sept. 19th, so bring your game and enjoy the new look!
Next business networking event is set for Monday, August 29
The Business Advisory Board and Stormhouse Brewing are holding a Networking event for Local Businesses on Monday, August 29th at Stormhouse Brewing. This is an informal opportunity for local business leaders to meet and network. All types of businesses are welcome.

School Crossing Guards needed

Annual Fishing Tournament

The 16th Annual Anchorage Aweigh Fishing Tournament at Anchorage Park is this Saturday, August 6th. This popular recreational tournament is for adults and youth, with a Kid's Fishing Derby, awards, a cookout, lots of fish tales and bragging rights for a year for the winners! Stop by to congratulate all the participants and to catch a few fishtails while you're there!
