Is your flood insurance
up to date?
Here's some advice from the Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management during hurricane season. They say a new flood insurance policy doesn’t go into effect until 30 days AFTER purchase, so it time to make those arrangements now. Don’t get caught without this vital coverage! They recommend talking to your insurance agent as soon as possible about it.
Palm Beach County has a Mass Notification service called ALERTPBC that sends public safety messages during an emergency, such as a hurricane.
Create an account on the ALERTPBC webpage and add your contact and location information into the Mass Notification system. The information you provide to ALERTPBC will not be used for any other purpose.
