Tree lighting is this Wednesday
Don't miss one of the Village's most beloved traditions this Wednesday, December 1st at 7 p.m. outside the Library. The Annual Tree lighting event is always a favorite for residents. As a special treat this year, the newly formed North Palm Youth Symphony will perform. Enjoy a memorable evening with family, friends and neighbors and kick the holiday spirit into full swing with this special evening you won't forget.

Annual Holiday Boat parade
is Saturday, Dec. 4th
The Annual Holiday Boat Parade is put on by the Marine Industries Association. It is set for Saturday, December 4th. It begins at 6 p.m. and moves past the Village golf course shortly thereafter. The golf course will be open for viewing the parade beginning at 5:15 p.m. PLEASE remember to keep any dogs on a leash at all times.

Pop a balloon and save at the Country Club Golf Pro Shop
And here's another good holiday idea: Save the evening for our Annual Holiday Balloon Sale – Tuesday, December 7th. The sale will begin at 5 p.m. Balloons contain discounts up to 40%. Bring a balloon up to the counter, pop it, and see what your savings will be! Complimentary snacks, wine and beer will be served.
Habitat protection work starts Monday at Lakeside Park
Our Habitat Enhancement and Erosion Control begins Monday, Nov. 29 and continues until mid December in Lakeside Park. We'll have heavy equipment on site and will close part of the walking path, so please watch for crews and machinery if you visit. It's all part of protecting and improving the great natural features at the park. Your cooperation is appreciated!
Next Council meeting is Dec. 9
The next Village Council meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 9th at 7 p.m. in Village Hall. The public welcome to attend in person or to watch & participate online.
Community Garden volunteers meet, begin sharing ideas
Community Gargen volunteers recently got a sneak peek at the newly constructed planter boxes at Osborne Park. The group held its first meeting and began discussing ideas about how to set up the garden and what the rules should be. There is still a lot of planning to do, so the next meeting has been set for Saturday, Dec. 4th. If you are interested in being involved, send an email to the link provided and you will be contacted.
Four drop-off places in Village for Toy Drive donations
The Little Smiles Holiday Toy Drive donation drop-offs are in place at Anchorage Park, the Golf Shop, Library and Village Hall. New and unwrapped toys only, drop-off deadline is Dec. 12.

You can help by donating new sports equipment, craft kit, beauty essentials for teenagers, and toys such as V-tech, Fisher-Price, etc.
Road paving projects continue
Crews will begin concrete work at Anchorage and Lighthouse Drives Monday, Nov. 29-30. Thank you for your patience as we work to make the Village “The Best Place to Live Under the Sun.”
