Council to consider appeal of 200 Yacht Club Drive decision by Planning Commission


At their meeting this Thursday, Jan. 26th, the Village Council will consider an appeal of the Planning Commission's recent denial of a waiver for 200 Yacht Club Drive, and will consider other business. The meeting will be streamed live on the Village website.

New law likely to affect some types of home repair at condos


Beginning July 1st, a new Florida law will prohibit municipalities like the Village from requiring licenses for some, but not all, home repair- and construction-related trades.


The Village is researching how this may affect pulling permits for condominium work, so the Building Division recommends checking Village social media periodically for updates.

Police Dep't. pledges to include more women in ranks by 2030


The North Palm Beach Police Department recently agreed to a nationwide pledge among law enforcement agencies to set a goal of increasing the representation of women in the department to 30 percent by 2030.

NPB Police 1st Annual

Youth Basketball Clinic


The Police Department will hold a basketball clinic on President’s Day, Monday, Feb. 20th, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Community Center.

Limited spots are available. For reservations click the link. Participants must live in or

attend school in North Palm Beach. The clinic is for ages 8 through 14.

Hot Cars & Chili is Jan. 28th


North Palm Beach Recreation Department will hold their annual HOT CARS & CHILI event on Saturday January 28th. This is a great event that draws lots of classic cars out to the park and feature some tasty chili made by the people and businesses of the Village.

Junior Tennis Academy


The Country Club's after-school tennis program has grown into a true Junior Tennis Academy, led by USPTA/PTR certified tennis professionals offering a combined 50+ years of coaching, teaching and playing experience.

AARP Foundation again is assisting with tax returns


The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program will provide free tax preparation services at the Village Library on Wednesdays and Fridays from Feb. 1 through April 14. Advance appointments must be made at the library. Click the link for more information.
