April 20, 2020                                               En Espanol

Dear Holy Rosary School Families,

St. Paul's message to the Thessalonians was to encourage and reassure the Christians to continue their mission work while waiting in hope. He said " Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus".

Rejoice always. There is so much to rejoice always at Holy Rosary School. From the first day of school to the last day of school, every year is unique. The students come with enthusiasm and so much hope. And they end the year enriched by their connection to their classmates and teachers. In between the school months, there is an energy that is filled with so much joy, laughter, and wonder. It's different every year and there is always something new to rejoice in. This is why I love being part of Holy Rosary School.

Pray continually. Our students pray every day, all day long. It is what I love about being in a Catholic school - that we get to share our faith every day, every moment with our students. I am grateful for the parent emails that share family photos, activities and prayer experiences. I am grateful when you tell me that you are praying for me, praying for the teachers and praying for the students. It is comforting and fills me with hope to know that my Holy Rosary family is praying for me every day.

Give thanks in all circumstances. I am thankful to be able to be part of our students' growth in mind, spirit and soul. We model gratitude at Holy Rosary through prayer, acknowledgments, and a sincere appreciation for each other. I have a gratitude box, a prayer journal and special cards that keep me focused on my mission and role at Holy Rosary School. I encourage you to do the same with your family. Talk about gratitude, being rejoiceful and having hope.

I have been here long enough to see generations of families go through our halls. The beauty of time is that every kid is different and grows in their own way. When an alumni comes back to say hello to their favorite teachers, or to check how they left things, or to say "because of you or thanks for pushing me", it tells me Holy Rosary is doing it right. We are the foundation that develops faith filled students, committed academic learners and active responsible citizens.

I give thanks to our Holy Rosary School community for having faith, for holding onto hope and for loving each other. This is God's will for us in Christ Jesus. Together we are stronger with Christ. I love you Holy Rosary.

In Partnership,

Ms. Fely Fajardo
