Before you hit send, WAIT!
We now have a student newsletter!
Eagle Notes is the new "eNotes" for students. In order to cut down on the amount of messages students receive in their inbox we decided to put together a newsletter that would combine as many messages as possible to send bi-weekly.
We'd like this newsletter to be informative and helpful so send what you'd like to share with students to [email protected] with
Eagle Notes
in the subject line. The first message will go out the first week of school.

The Early Childhood Education program at the College of Southern Idaho has collaborated with the Boys and Girls Club of Magic Valley to add a kindergarten classroom to its program starting with the fall semester. Enrollments are currently being accepted.
Jennifer Patterson, CSI Early Childhood Education Learning Center and Lab School Coordinator, says the kindergarten curriculum will consist of best practices in early childhood education focusing on inquiry/project, executive function, and problem-solving strategies at developmentally appropriate levels. Students will be introduced to creative arts, social and physical development, science, math, engineering, technology, and critical thinking. The curriculum will meet Common Core standards for kindergartners.
Two Tuesday through Friday sessions are available for enrollment - from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The registration fee is $150. The monthly fee is $250 or the annual fee is $2,250.

Random Acts of Theater presents...
THIS IS OUR YOUTH
Dates:
August 13, 14, and 15, 2015
Time:
7:30 pm
Location:
Fine Arts Recital Hall
Cost: $10
It's March 1982. In an apartment in the Upper West Side the wily and domineering Dennis Ziegler's friend Warren Straub, a dejected 19-year-old, bursts in. Warren has just been kicked out of his abusive lingerie tycoon father's house and has stolen $15,000 on the way out. Dennis spends some of the money on cocaine, hoping to sell it to a friend for much more. In the meantime Jessica Goldman, an "anxiously insightful" fashion student comes to the apartment where Warren and Jessica engage in an intricate dance of introduction, introspection and attraction. The play, directed by Jud Harmon, features Dustin Hobdey, Bryson Hatfield and Autumn Robinson. It explores timeless issues of adolescence and maturity. The characters, as well as the Reagan Era in which it is set, feel adrift in 1980s-style materialism.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

Weight Watchers Returns to Twin Falls, St. Luke's
The message below comes from one of our St. Luke's coaches and opens the door to a corporate Weight Watcher's group here in Twin Falls. Please reply ASAP to [email protected] or with a call to Judy at x6269 if you'd be interested in joining. Let me know if you have a preference for Mondays or Thursdays.
From Kyli Gough, St. Luke's Nutritional Coach:
I have coordinated with a Regional Weight Watchers representative to bring WW@W to St. Luke's. We have had about 29 people interested and so we are now starting the registration phase. In order to start a program we must have 20 people signed up and paid.
We are not committed to any location at this point.
