Join PJ Library and JAC (Jewish Adults Calgary) for a fun day at South Glenmore Park. PJ Library and Calgary JCC Circus Night with Asaf-n-roll

PJ Tot Shabbat

Join PJ Library for our popular musical half-hour to forty five minute class focusing on the festive feeling of Shabbat and Holidays through songs and movement, with brachot and challah. There is no charge and no need to register. This program is suitable for children who are not yet in preschool. Attention PJ Library Parents and Grandparents
We have great news! PJ Grandparents can receive the gift of PJ Library books too. Simply register online and you will receive two PJ Library books in the mail as well as many other grandparent resources. There is no charge. PJ Our Way is the next chapter of PJ Library for children ages 8 1/2 - 11 years old.
PJ Our Way offers the gift of exceptional books with Jewish themes for registered children that they choose themselves. Register at online  and start receiving monthly books and join the online community of like minded readers. Summer Camp Registration

Calgary Yachad Hebrew School

Striving and Thriving: Strengthening Executive Skills

Executive skills are critical to the acquisition of academic skills, but more importantly, they are the skills students need to get things done. Some children seem to acquire such skills naturally, but many students also find it a struggle. Dr. Peg Dawson, co-author of Smart but Scattered and Smart but Scattered Teens, will describe how these skills develop throughout childhood and suggest strategies parents can use to help their children acquire the critical skills they need to be successful students. Join Calgary Jewish Federation, CIJA, Temple B’nai Tikvah, and Calgary Pride at the third annual Calgary Pride Shabbat Dinner. Come together with Jewish and non-Jewish LGBTQ+ community members to celebrate diversity and enjoy a fully catered vegan dinner, which will include wine and dessert, followed by an optional Shabbat service. Please join us for our special observance of Tisha B'av as we recite the Megillah of Eicha (Lamentations). We will follow the tradition by sitting, as though in mourning, on the ground or on benches without cushions while the Megillah is read in a darkened room. Please remember to bring a flashlight.

Calgary Jewish Hockey League
Sunday evenings September through April
Interested in playing ice hockey with other members of the Jewish community? The CMJHL is now open for registration for the 2019-2020 season.
The non-contact league is open to adults of all skill levels looking to join a fun and serious ice hockey league with games once per week. Participants can expect all games to be played in the southwest at Oakridge Arena. For more information and/or to register please contact Rod Sztabzyb .
