Join PJ Library® for our popular musical half-hour to 45-minute class focusing on the festive feeling of Shabbat and holidays through songs and movement, with brachot and challah. Jewish Book Festival

"Stacks & Piles" Photo Exhibit - Call for Submissions 
Along with this year's Jewish Book Festival, the photo "Piles" exhibit will be displayed in the JCC lobby and on our website. If you are a book reader and want to share your readings, take a picture of your "pile" and  email it to Shula with a caption. If you've gone digital, just take a photo of your ipad or e-reader showing the titles.

Challah Baking
Please note that the last day for Challah baking at the Calgary JCC this year will be on December 13. Challah sales will resume on January 10. A special thank you to our wonderful volunteers who come in every Friday to braid the Challah. Without their generous time and support this program would not be possible.
Jam For Justice: An Independent Fundraiser for RAICES

This is a fundraiser to support free legal services for child immigrants detained by U.S. authorities.
Featuring two bands and a Peruvian dance troop who are donating their talents, food, drink, a 50-50 and prize draws. All benefits will support RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services). Tickets can be purchased in advance on Eventbrite.com for $15 ($20 at the door).
