It's Minnesota's annual day of major giving proportions- Give to the Max Day on November 12 offers an easy way to support ProAct's programs benefiting people with disabilities.

The charity drive allows users to easily share ProAct's cause with friends and family with individual fundraising pages. Explore the options.

'Recycle Your Holidays' lights collection begins Nov. 15


ProAct begins collections of Christmas lights, electric and phone cords on November 15.  ProAct offers 35 locations for drop off.

A new project that began this summer has brought work opportunities for more than a dozen individuals in Red Wing, where electronics recycling efforts are growing for a new operation, ProAct eRecycling Services.

ProAct celebrates 'America Recycles Day,' urges donations of old computers, flat screens, will demonstrate destructive power of hard drive 'shredder' which assures data security

In conjunction with the nationwide "America Recycles Day," ProAct eRecycling Services is hosting a special collection event on November 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its Red Wing location.

"We want people in our area to get plugged in with eRecycling, to learn about our capabilities, and the benefits this service provides to people with disabilities," explains ProAct Production Manager Jim Bohmbach. A primary goal is to keep electronic and electrical products out of the trash. Learn more.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services Counselors Kaelene Klemick, left, and Margie Webb are new additions to the ProAct West building in Eagan, where they will assist with the new "Way to Work" program.
