Coming Soon: HRM® Integration for OTNhub
Say goodbye to having to download/upload your completed eConsult case details to your EMR! Those with Health Report Manager (HRM®) access will be able to export completed eConsult case details into a single PDF report, for viewing within your OMD-certified EMR.

HRM is a digital health solution that enables clinicians to securely receive patient reports electronically from participating hospitals and specialty clinics.

Send an eConsult
Directly From Your EMR via Ocean
Clinicians using Telus PS Suite EMR, OSCAR EMR, and Accuro EMR are able to use their Ocean integration to submit an eConsult into OTNhub; saving you time copying and pasting or manually entering information into OTNhub.

Learn how to submit an eConsult through Ocean here.

TELUS PS Suite EMR Users: You can update your Ocean toolbar, and click "ON eConsult" to get started.

Account & Technical Set Up Requirements
This integration requires you to be set up with Ocean eReferral. eReferral simplifies the referral process by enabling quick and secure referrals to be sent and received through an electronic platform. 
Specific workflows vary depending on what EMR you are using. Contact us at econsult@hitsehealth.ca and we will arrange a quick virtual demo for you customized to your EMR and clinic's workflow.
Specialists Available on eConsult
Both primary care providers and specialists can send eConsults through OTNhub. You can connect directly with a specialist by searching their name in the OTNhub Directory, or you can access a provincial or regional HNHB BASE Managed Specialty Group.

If you have your regional preferences set, have you tried sending an eConsult to one of our 34 HNHB BASE™ Managed Specialty Groups? 


The benefits of sending your eConsult to these groups include specialist awareness of local services and supports, and increasing collaboration and knowledge transfer between providers practicing in the same region. The HNHB deployment team at the HITS eHealth Office manages the HNHB regional specialty group to ensure health care providers receive a timely response.
