Parshas Nitzavim-Vayelech
September 11-12, 2020
23 Elul, 5780
Shalom and hello everyone!

I hope you are healthy and doing well.

Join us this “last shabbos” of the Hebrew calendar year for uplifting tefilos and inspiring learning.

Normally we would “bentch rosh chodesh” the shabbos prior to rosh chodesh (rosh hashanah, in this case) but the custom is NOT to do so before rosh hashanah.

B”h we’ve had terrific minyanim DAILY for shacharis and mincha and maariv and our SHABBOS morning minyan is exploding with mispalilim! One still has to register with me prior to attendance, please.

Enjoy our delicious shabbos morning kiddush and a daf yomi shiur between mincha and maariv on shabbos afternoon. Don’t forget, our daf yomi shiur is held both in person and on Zoom daily!
A reminder we begin selichos this Sunday morning at 8:00 AM. Selichos and shacharis will commence daily throughout next week (starting Monday) and during the aseres y’mei teshuvah at 7:00 AM.

Also, look to your email for our flyer announcing our famous Shabbos Shuva Drash which will be held this year on Zoom
Finally, please make your reservations for our amazing outdoor minyan on rosh hashanah and yom kippur! Seating is limited (and we are almost SOLD OUT!) and I want you to join me outside on this important day.

Have a wonderful shabbos,

I’ll see you in shul,

Rabbi Aaron D. Mehlman
